Ridge-Runner Internet Services is the best thing we have done for ourselves! Being a locally owned and operated service, Ridge-Runner appreciates us as people first. Ridge-Runner cares about the customer's needs and realizes that it's the people who make grateful customers. We felt our previous dial up internet service provider saw us only as an account number, and were lax about helping us when we needed the help. When we had questions about our service or wanted to understand how our service worked, we would be brushed off. More frequently than we can count, our dial up service would fail to work, leaving us paying a bill that we never fully used. Living in the country they failed to meet our needs, telling us they could do nothing more for us. Ridge-Runner was the answer to our prayers! Not only do the owners appreciate us as people first, then customers, they also take the time needed to teach us about our system. Recently I had my computer off for an extended period of time causing a communication error and before I could contact Derek about my problem he contacted me as he saw it on his end. With just simple instructions left on my answering machine I was reconnected in matter of a few seconds. Now That is what I call service!!!!! We had been using dial-up for years because satellite was the only other option in our rural location. Through our neighbor we heard about ridge-runner and checked out their coverage area on their web-site. It looked like it might just work. In less than a week they were on-site and had the job done. We've had the other cell based ISP carrier out and believe me ridge-runner was much easier to deal with. After getting the antenna positioned, Derek spent a significant amount of time making sure we had the connectivity we needed, included debugging the VPN access needed to get into the Firewall where Eric works. The connect speed has been phenomenal. We are very pleased and would recommend ridge-runner to anyone in their coverage area. Thanks! We cannot say enough great things about Ridge Runner Internet service. They provide us with a high speed connection that is lightening fast. We were formally dial-up consumers and we were looking into the possibility of satellite internet service but first the cost was outrageous and the connection wasn't really that fast. As soon as we got the information about Ridge Runner service that was becoming available to those of us who live up on the ridge, we were ready to climb on board. It is the best thing we did. They provide us with a great service, they are there whenever we need them for any questions and best of all they offer a very low cost for the service. We couldn't be happier with our wireless internet system. We have a desktop computer and a laptop connected. We have a very good signal wherever we might be in our home. Thank you Ridge Runner for providing us with such a great service. We appreciate it! I "suffered" for years with all the various problems that came with dial-up service, all of which escalated the last 5 months that I had it. About the time I said: "this is it, I cant take it anymore!", a brochure arrived at my house from Ridge-Runner Internet Service. I thought: "this is the answer to my prayers-but its too good to be true". I was skeptical but I called, and within 2 days I had the best Internet Service I have had since I bought our first home computer in 1997. It is just as fast as our cable service at work, and I am extremely satisfied- and extremely is an understatement! - (Rick Nahrgang, Technical Services Manager - United Building Centers) I enjoy living out in rural Winona County, but when I moved from our home in Lewiston, I was very concerned about losing the high-speed Internet access we got from our cable modem. When I was informed about Ridge-Runner services, I was very interested in the opportunity of getting back into broadband access. But I was also skeptical. After a few minutes talking with Derek at Ridge-Runner, I was convinced. I use my new broadband access for e-mail, web browsing, working from home, you name it. The equipment is unobtrusive, the service is reliable and faster than what I was getting from my cable modem in town. It blows away dial-up and satellite solutions, and the price is extremely reasonable. But the customer service is probably the best part of the plan. My questions are answered promptly and when I call on them, I know that I get personal attention. I'm a customer, not a number. |
